The M.Ed. in Teaching is a 36-hour program designed for classroom teachers who have earned an initial teaching credential or its equivalent and who wish to continue their professional development through graduate education. The program includes a core of courses and experiences followed by continued study addressing area(s) of inquiry. An action research project is initiated at the midpoint of the program and completed as part of the required comprehensive examination.

Courses outside the department related to the candidate’s inquiry question(s) developed in EDTE 712 - Action Research in Teaching. Required Culminating Project and Comprehensive Examination (3 Hours):
